Comments:   George, Thank you for your reply. I know that running the league is tough and I would not want to do it but my biggest complaint is there STILL is no co-ed schedule posted so how are we suppose to know when we play? Some of us need to know in advance so that we can make arrangements such as child care, dinner for the family. Is there some where else that I, or should I say we, should be looking for this schedule? I know that there is the phone # to call but that doesn't do any good when you have to make arrangements prior to the day of.

Comments:   One more thing Softball Guy, if you find someone to run the league more organized and will to take a loss while running the league, please let me know who that person is. FYI Co-ed league fee $260 \ 12 games = $22 per game Cost/game $15 umpire fee + $2 balls + $.40 trophies + ? umpire scheduling + ? league rain/schedule phone number + ? website costs + commissioner's fee = $17++++ I do purchase extra trophies, on top of the $5, because I know how hard it is to get a sponsor and this may help the managers get some leverage. Bottom line is that if you know someone who is willing to take over the league without jacking up the prices to satisfy his own personal financial goals, have him give me a call. George F. P.S. If you've won a trophy, you know why I give out extra trophies. Has it not help you? George F.

Comments:   I understand your frustration, Softball Guy, and by purchasing my own website, I hope to alliviate the schedule/standings issues. I will have to say that the schedule will remain dynamic. I can honestly say that I have changed the schedule in the last 3 weeks at manager's request. I can either be flexible with the schedule to accommodate teams personnel issues, or I can set the schedule in concrete and have teams consisting of teachers, firefighters, parents of children who play sports barking at me because they had to forfeit games. I'm sorry, but I try to make this more of a fun league then a dictatorship. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I don't hear the voices of other teams complaining. I've tried to change the league with such things as reducing the league fees by $96 by eliminating the second umpire. There are still several teams that have not paid their league fee. I don't threaten with expulsion or any other consequential penalties. I try to run a league that is condusive to change when appropriate. I will also say that we've increased our league participation by 6 co-ed teams this year as compared to last year. So Softball Guy, if you have any suggestions, I'm more then welcome to hear them. I don't know who you are, but please step forward with your ideas. I'd love to hear them. Thanks for your "indirect" comments. George F.

Comments:   This has got to stop and George has got to go!!!!!!! There has got to be someone that can run these leagues better. Why does the Coed schedule keep getting removed and/or changed? It changes from week to week so noone can make arrangements to show up. George, I hope you read this, there are alot of teams that are getting pissed off at the way you are running things. Who do we have to talk to about getting him removed?
